Died? Yes. Over exaggerating? Maybe a little... Anyways, here's the story.
I was around the age of 6 or 7 when my brother and I were going to ride our bikes with my mom and at the time step dad. We were getting our bikes out of the shed when my brother got cold, he asked me if I would go up to our shared room with him so he could change his shirt, I agreed to go with him and as he walked up the stairs to our room I thought it would be super funny if I were to scare him and run down the stairs to leave him there alone, being how he was scared to be up there be himself. As I was sitting on the steps I looked back up at him to make sure he wasn't looking and ran. Running down the stairs wasn't a good idea to start off with but to make it even worse I was wearing socks and our carpet was really slick. I tripped on my own feet and rolled down the stairs, as I was rolling I thought I saw my life flash before my eyes. That though wasn't the thing that killed me though. As I was standing up I hit the side of my face on the coffee table in out living room. My step dad at the time looked up at me and saw that I was gushing blood from my eyebrow, he yelled for my mom and she came into the room, now that I think about it, she was oddly calm about it. All I rememer from then on it holding a towel to my head, getting to the ER and as soon as we got there they let he into a room, I'm guessing it's because of how close to my eye it was. They let me in and I remember the doctor telling me I'd need stitches... That folks, is when I died. I told the doctor I was fine, that i felt great, and that we can go home now. Nope, she didn't let me leave, I was getting those stitches today. After that everything kinda went blank. I remember getting home and feeling really tired but when I saw Andy and Chayse standing next to a card and 2 candy bars, I defenitly woke up.

1. What do you learn about the main character, Martin, in the exposition?
We learned that he has moved into an appartment with his father and there is an elevator that he is afraid of. 2. What event sets the rising action in motion? When the older fat lady walks on the elevator and stares at him. 3. What internal conflict is plaguing Martin in lines 81-84? He is debating on if he should use the stairs or take the elevator. 5. What details in lines 121-139 suggest a conflict between father and son? Martin is asking his dad if he's ever seen a fat lady in the building and he's kind of just blowing him off and watching T.V. 8. The author ends this story at the climax. What is your opinion of the plot's development and of leaving the conflict unresolved? Explain. Honestly when an auther ends his/her story in the middle of the climax I get really annoyed because I need closure, I need to know what happened. Three traits every president should have is well one, they should be good with kids being how the people of America want the president to hold their child for some werid reason, you don't want the child to cry as soon as the president holds the small being! Two, all persidents should be smart and have common sence... we all know who I'm pointing fingers at, cough cough, Donald Trump. The president of the United States should have some common sence in order to control our country. Last but not least, three. Our president should be loyal and trust worthy because who wants a president we can't trust?! Am I right? Yeah, I'm right. If we can't trust our president then our country would turn into anarchy!
If I had a million dollars the first thing I would do is buy meet and greet tickets and backstage passes to see and meet 5sos, Five Seconds of Summer. 5sos has been my favorite band for 4 and a half years now. There are 4 members, Luke, Michael, Ashton, and Calum. Michael has been my favorite member since day one, he's the reason I dye my hair and the reason I'm able to express myself so openly.
The second thing I'd do with a million dollars is build my mom her dream house. She works so hard for me and my siblings she deserves the house she's always dreamed of. At our small Iowa City house theres 6 of us, my mom, my 3 brothers, and my moms friends who's living with us to help pay rent. Money is very tight in my family, we don't have much, just what we need. My mom loves us with all her heart, she deserves to live in a house that she could only dream of. The last thing I would do with a million dollars is take a trip to France. French is a language that I think is so beautiful and I've been trying to learn it for a while now, I've picked up on some things but learning a language is hard. France also has some amazing food, and me being the person I am, could eat the entire ctiy of Paris! Aha Moment... I think that the aha moment was when Squicky was thinking in her mind and then she looked over to see Raymon by the fence with his arms by his side running because she finally thought about how he was taking after her because of how much he's around her and because of what he see's her doing.
2. Plot... Think of the various components of Plot and briefly describe each in Raymond's Run. -Exposition; Squicky has a brother, Raymon with a big head, she has short arms but it doen't effect her, everyone calls her Squicky cause of her high pitched voice. -Rising Action; When Squicky ran into Gretchen on the streets and Gretchen was teasing her. -Climax; When Gretchen and Squicky were running and Squicky saw Raymon was running behind the fence. -Falling Action; When the girls were waiting to hear who won and then the announcer came on and said Squicky won the race. -Resolution; When Squicky looked at Gretchen and they genuenly smiled at each other. 1. How do you know if something is worth effort? Give an example of a time when you worked hard for something. Why was it worth it? When I stayed up all night studying for a math test that i thought I was going to fail and when I went to take the test I was really nervous but when we got the tests back I got 100% correct, it was defenitly worth staying up studing for because I got ice cream and meatloaf. 2. Give an example of an Aha Moment you recently had. (Think of the "lightbulb" going off right above your head) How did this change your situation? My mom, Chayse, and I are moving into a new house right now and we had to move the bed into my bedroom, we couldn't figure out how to fit it into the room. We were all thinking until I thought of an idea, we could tilt the bed a little to the right and just push... simple but at the moment was all I could think of but it worked out perfectly! 3. Think of someone (or yourself) that may have a disability. How has this disability affected how this person is judged (or explain maybe how it doesn't). Me and my family have always assumed I have ADD because I can't concentrate as well as others and I was made fun of and teased by teachers when they would call on me and I couldn' t give them an answer because I couldn't sit still and pay attention. I have over come that because I take my meds every morning and if someone teases me I've learned to brush their comment off and just walk away. |
